“Líneas” is a collection of poems born at the threshold between drawing and writing. What began as pictorial gestures on a blank surface gradually turned into words, verses, and fragments that resist strict definitions of poetry or prose. These short texts present themselves simply as lines: traces that move freely between image, language, and thought.

Across more than fifty poems, the book explores subjects such as space and time, composition and rhythm, the act of creation itself, and recurring motifs like nature, memory, Mexico, and death. The texts follow a continuous trajectory, autobiographical almost, like a single stroke with a clear beginning and end, where visual thinking gives rise to poetic language and reflection.

“Líneas” is both an intimate notebook and a conceptual journey, anticipating the ideas later developed in “El espacio original”, and functioning as its preliminary sketch.
